To answer your question, because of the funding issue, at this time ALL dependent funding is on hold. Generally speaking, if you come to Canada in the last few weeks of August, you will be able to register your children in school for the beginning of September. But due to the funding issue, we cannot guarantee that at this point because we don’t have enough funds to sponsor the primary student’s dependents.
dependents must apply for ESL approval from CBIE after they arrive in Canada. There is an application process that must be completed once dependents (spouses, children, siblings) arrive in Canada. We also cannot guarantee that at this point again because of the funding issue.
Please remember that at this time ALL dependent funding is on hold.
