LocationGuelph city is located in South-western Ontario. Almost 28 km east of Kitchener and Waterloo, and 100 km west of Toronto. It takes at least an hour driving from Toronto to Guelph (you should come to Toronto’s Pearson Airport when you fly from Libya). Guelph is also 1 1/2 hour driving to the famous Niagara Falls

Transportation: Bus: Guelph Transit provides local transportation around the city. Train: VIA Rail provides daily passenger rail service from the railway station to Toronto
Highways: Highway 401 to go to Toronto and London. Highway 7 to go to Kitchener
I think the best way of transportation in Guelph is to have your own car. Winter is cold so it is very hard to go to the university and shopping using public transportation. Cars: for example Hyundai Elantra 2006 is $6000 to 8000

School for children: there are many public schools. I don’t think there is any Islamic school in Guelph. I think there is Islamic School in Kitchener. By the way, you can live (rent a place) either in Kitchener or Waterloo if you like those cities more than Guelph. They are not far from University of Guelph
